BioI am a family physician, board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to college at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (Fighting Illini and the Big Ten conference for any college sports fans). | |
My Medical Specialty | |
My specialty interests and affiliations within my field:American Academy of Family Physicians An interesting story from my training:During medical school, I participated as an exchange medical student to the University of Toronto School of Medicine and spent some time in Toronto, Canada. This provided a unique opportunity to learn the Canadian Healthcare system and see how primary care medicine is practiced in Canada. This experience offered a valuable insight into the differences between our U.S. health care system and the socialized medicine in Canada, and the advantages and disadvantages inherent in both systems. |
