American Heart Association Heart Walk

The American Heart Association (AHA) is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. They have helped, and continue to help people learn and take action to lower their risk of cardiovascular disease.
Every year, the AHA organizes a non-competitive walk/run event which raises awareness and funds in the fight against the nation's #1 cause of death, cardiovascular disease. There will be children's activities, entertainment, exhibit booths, and much more for you and your family to enjoy.
This year's American Heart Association Heart Walk will be held at Howarth Park. This will be a fun-filled event to raise critical dollars for heart disease and stroke research and education.
