Diabetes: Lo Basico

Northern California Center for Well-Being in partnership with Alliance Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente invites you to attend a Spanish diabetes education class.
If you have type 2 diabetes, this class will teach you how to manage your diabetes. Topics for discussion will include:
- Healthy Eating
- Exercise
- Medications
- Blood Glucose Monitoring
- Stress Management
Also learn how to recognize and treat high and low blood sugar levels and how to properly use your blood glucose monitor. Bring your blood glucose monitor to class.

For public transportation from Santa Rosa, take Sonoma County Transit Bus #60 to Alliance Medical Center. Get off at March & Healdsburg Avenue. Walk 3 blocks east to the medical center.
