Bio
I am a Psychologist in the Santa Rosa Department of Child and Family Psychiatry. I have been working with children, adolescent, and families for over twenty-five years. I have worked in a number of settings including private practice, and feel privileged to be working at Kaiser. Our department provides comprehensive services for children 2-18 years old. Our staff includes social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists who have extensive training and experience working with children and their families. We are fortunate to have four clinicians who are Spanish Speaking, including myself.
As a member of the child clinical team, I provide initial assessments, individual, family, and group therapy. I believe that a child/teen in distress effects the whole family. To be most effective in helping your child/teen I will need your input and collaboration. In addition to traditional therapy services, Kaiser has many programs available through our Health Education Department that families have found extremely useful in the difficult job of parenting.
Currently I am part of the Intensive Outpatient program for teens and families in crisis, and I co-lead the obsessive-compulsive group for teens.
