Bio

I wanted to be a Physical Therapist from the time I was in High School. My personal experience with physical therapy was after I wore a scoliosis back brace for 2 years, at which time I became aware of the importance of core muscles. My first job was working in a convalescent home where I realized how much I enjoy working with the elderly. I take pleasure in working with all ages and helping individuals become aware of their body, how it moves and what they can do to prevent injuries. I like working for Kaiser with its variety of physical therapy classes and large staff. The Physical Therapy department feels like one big family.

After graduating from Cal State University Fresno in 1986, I moved to Sonoma County and worked in home health, convalescent homes and an outpatient clinic. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1993 and specialize in Repetitive Stress Injuries and Ergonomics.

My philosophy:
FITNESS IS A LIFE SENTENCE!

Yep... You read that right. I believe you and you alone are responsible for your health. We, here at Kaiser, are here to help you on that path. Through a balance of exercise, diet, not smoking, and maintaining a positive outlook, you too can lead a healthy lifestyle. I look forward to helping you along the way.
