Why I Chose Nursing
I am a 3rd generation nurse. My son is planning on becoming a nurse as well. I was planning on becoming a nurse midwife in order to use laboring technique at the time of birth.

I have been involved with the build, design and implementation of Health Connect over the last 3 years.
Biography
As a nursing student in a 1,000 bed hospital (Cook County Hospital, Chicago), every door was open to me - Trauma Center, Burn Center, Surgery, Pediatrics, Oncology. I was given the opportunity to perform direct care, many more loves than most trainings. ER, the television series, is based on Cook County, and I love to watch that show. Every year I get together with 4 nurses I trained with and share student nursing stories and our current nursing projects/directions.
