Description

Another great variation on a breakfast favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp currants or raisins
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds, ground
  • 2 1⁄2 cup water
  • 1 cup apple, grated
  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 8 pecan halves, chopped

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and stir in all ingredients, except blueberries and pecans. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir in blueberries and pecans and cover for 2-3 minutes before serving.
