Description
Almonds are rich in magnesium, potassium, manganese, copper, the antioxidants vitamin E and selenium, and calcium. Almond milk has a light, nutty flavor. It is a tasty drink anytime of day and can also be used as an ingredient in other recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds, raw
- 2 1⁄2 cup water
- 2 cup ice cubes
- 9 medjool dates, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Soak almonds in water overnight. Pour off water, rinse almonds and place them in a blender with all other ingredients. Blend for 1 minute or until almonds are completely liquefied.
