Description
Quinoa is an amino acid-rich (protein) seed that has a fluffy, creamy, slightly crunchy texture and a somewhat nutty flavor when cooked. Serve it as a healthy alternative to plain white rice.
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
- 2 cup water
Instructions
Rinse quinoa thoroughly in a sieve. Add to 2 cups of water in a medium pot and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
