I joined the Kaiser Health Education team as a Clinical Health Educator in 2005. Clinical Health Educators work with your provider to offer support and guidance to maintain your health. Because our services are included in your health plan, there is no charge to you.
My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton. And, as of this writing, I'm fortunate to be in graduate school earning my Master's Degree in Social Work.
I began my career in health education in 1992 working in women's health services. My background includes individual health counseling, teaching classes, designing programs and developing health education curriculum. Being bi cultural and bilingual, I have had the added privilege of providing services to the community and Kaiser members in Spanish as well as English.
My joy in life comes from my family - my wonderful husband, daughter and stepson.
Our many activities include reading, hiking, camping and bicycling. |
